All About Coffee: Recipes & More

Let me begin by saying that I am not a coffee drinker. Wish I was. If you add a little liquor to it, and top it with crema or whipped cream, you could twist my arm. But today, on "National Coffee Day," I am giving us all a little caffeine fix with recipes that promise to perk you up.

Espresso Martini
Let's start with a cocktail, shall we? I am not a martini drinker, but the night I tried one of these, I had two and a half. It consists of cold espresso, vodka, Kahlua, and honey vanilla syrup, Cheers!

Caramel Frappuccino
Heavy cream, coffee, and caramel sauce. Sounds like the triple threat, and a Starbucks moment at home.

Florentine Chocolate Tart With Coffee Meringue
Is this not an elegant dish? That pastry crust looks amazing.

Coffee Brown Sugar Bourbon Rib Roast
I am putting a pin in this recipe for the holidays ahead. It's a special and well seasoned dish with a crackley crust. Just Yum!

Nespresso Machines
If you have been wanting one, now's the time. Bloomie's has some on sale with an additional 20% off. The full price models will also be 20% off at checkout. We loved ours. Shop soon. The sale is over this Sunday.

Coconut Iced Coffee…with Mini Chocolate Glazed Coffee Doughnuts
Have you ever? This coffee and those little donuts almost look too good to eat!
Half Baked Harvest

Rice Pudding Tiramisu
This looks and sounds decedant, doesn't it? It's rice pudding and tiramisu turned into a pie. How deliciously clever! The coffee can be found in the ladyfingers which have been soaked in it. It's all topped off with a heaping layer of mascarpone whipped cream.

Chocolate Coffee Ice Cream Coffee Cake
Oh my! The crust of this cake is brownies!!! This is a celebration cake if I ever saw one.

Coffee Pancakes
Here's an eye opener for breakfast or dinner! The pancakes are said to be tender and studded with mini chocolate chips. Then there is that coffee glaze! This a real treat.

Maple & Coffee Glazed Bacon
All I can say is WOW! This recipe really takes bacon to another level. You bake the finest cut of bacon you can get your hands on. Thick cut is best, and it's my favorite. Perfect for your brunch set up, too. This is a must make.

Coffee Caramelized Croissant French Toast Sticks
Words can't really describe these French Toast Sticks. So I will just let you sit there and drool for a minute :)

Dolce&Gabbana
Moka Machine 6-Cup Coffee Maker
Don't we all need one of these? It's g great gift for a coffee, design and fashion lover.

Spiced Coffee and Chocolate Mousse
Chocolate Mousse happens to be my very favorite dessert. I have not tried this recipe. However, I do know that coffee enhances the flavor of chocolate. Sounds like a delicious flavor duo.

Wonderful Wakeups: Beautiful Breakfasts

From the 2021 archives ~ Treat your family and friends to Instagram worthy breakfasts this holiday season. These recipes will make spirits merry and bright. Get inspired!

Festive Holiday Donuts
Breakfast doesn't get any more jolly than these. There are some pretty fabulous recipes to follow here. But of all of them, these donuts are my favorite. You can even eat them while unwrapping presents. And the decorating would be great fun. You will enjoy the very detailed instructions.

Salted Caramel Brûlée Latte
Steamed milk, sweet caramel, hints of real vanilla, and a couple of shots of espresso. What's not to love?

Baked Eggnog French Toast
Here's the perfect dish to serve to a house full of guests. The eggnog creates a rich custard and the challah bread soaks it all up. Plus you can create it the day before and bake it Christmas morning!

Vanilla Gingerbread Latte
An over the top cup of coffee, that even non coffee drinkers, like me, will love. The caramel brûlée is the perfect touch for this holiday in a cup recipe!

Red Velvet Cinnamon Christmas Pancakes
Said to be light and fluffy. Loving the classic red velvet hue and that decadent cream cheese glaze that tops them off. Perfect!

Fruit Christmas Tree
God love ya if you have the energy to create this festive fruit tree. Actually, it couldn't be easier. You need a styrofoam cone, toothpicks and fruit!
Jennifer Maune

Cranberry Orange Mimosa
To create this gorgeous champagne cocktail, simply combine fresh cranberries, cranberry simple syrup, orange juice, triple sec and champagne in a sleek champagne flute.

Champagne Donuts
These are baked in the oven, not fried. Sorry "Mr. Shop This!" They are made with actual champagne. Sign me up!

Overnight Croissant Breakfast Bake
Another make ahead breakfast treat that's perfect for a special breakfast or brunch. With cremini mushrooms, heavy cream, baby spinach and more, it has got to be good.

Andes Chocolate Mint Pancakes
The touch of mint just adds the perfect Christmassy touch! These would be a big hit in my home.

Cinnamon Roll Bites
An individual dish always seems special. Make it a cinnamon roll, and you have my attention. These can actually be made ahead and frozen right in the ramekins. It is a tasty time saver!

Boozy Peppermint Hot Cocoa
Of course this recipe had me at boozy. I like to have homemade hot cocoa once a year. This recipe looks and sounds worthy of the calories!
Outdoorsy

Peppermint Mocha Scones
Don't these look like Christmas? I have never made a scone, but this recipe doesn't seem too challenging. What a wonderful way to celebrate the day.

Gingerbread Banana Bread With Maple Tahini Glaze
If you are looking for something rather healthy. This is it. It is naturally sweet with no added refined sugar. I am not sure that Christmas Day is the day to watch our weight, but it is a good recipe to have on hand.

Baked Gingerbread Custard Waffle French Toast
These waffles are everything, think french toast bake, but on another level.  You can prepare it ahead of time and let the dish sit overnight in the fridge. Done!

Foodie Friday: Pumpkin Perfect Recipes

Have you had a taste of pumpkin yet? Last Friday at Adalina Restaurant, we had the yummiest dessert of warm apple cider donuts filled with pumpkin puree and covered with caramel sauce. Oh My! So I was in the mood for pumpkin spice and everything nice today. This recipe roundup features both sweet and savory pumpkin dishes. Enjoy it all.

Pumpkin Spice White Russian
Is it dessert or a cocktail? It sure looks creamy and dreamy. That cinnamon sugar rim is perfection.

Pumpkin Queso
Oh boy does this look good. Queso, if you haven't had it before, is a bit like Swiss Fondue. It's cheesy,  gooey, and you dip tortillas or corn chips in it. Yummy.

Pumpkin & Brie Crostini with Candied Nuts
What a perfect appetizer for this time of year! These may look fancy, but no worries, anyone can make them. My hosting experience tells me that guests really love a good crostini.

Mile High Pumpkin Pie
Each year I try to find a pumpkin pie that beats last years. Regular pumpkin pie is just boring to me. This recipe takes pumpkin pie to a new level. How could that mile high heaping of meringue not be fabulous?

Roasted Garlic & Sage Pesto Pumpkin Soup
The garlic, sage and homemade pesto takes this pumpkin soup up many  notches. Turns out it is a Half Baked Harvest recipe but I found it at....

Pumpkin Risotto With Goat Cheese and Dried Cranberries
For a girl who never eats rice, risotto is one of my favorite foods. Go figure. This recipe will be made before the year is out. It features an earthiness combined with a creamy zing from the goat cheese and cranberries.

Spiced Pumpkin Dip
What a fun dessert or afternoon snack. It will taste just like Pumpkin Cheesecake, but it is easier to make. Whip it up in minutes, then provide your guests all of your favorites to dip, like cookies, apple slices, marshmallows etc.

Sage Butter Pumpkin Cheese Ravioli
A brand new recipe from Tieghan. It sure looks like a bowl of comfort!

Healthy Pumpkin Pancakes
I am still not sure if I need my pancakes to be healthy, but if they can look this good, why not? These are made with whole wheat flour. This recipe also calls for oat milk, but feel free to use what works best for you.

Pumpkin Chicken Chili
I have a feeling that this will be your "go to" fall chili recipe. I am going to try it this weekend.

No Churn Pumpkin Cheesecake Ice Cream
Now this alone or on top of pumpkin pie is a dessert worth the calories. No churn means no machine needed. I make it all of the time. The recipe is as easy as ice cream and pie.

Fall Harvest Salad With Pumpkin Goddess Dressing
This recipe is filled with textures and tastes. The dressing looks amazing, and it is made with plain Greek style yogurt and pure maple syrup. Add some protein like grilled chicken to make it a meal.

Pumpkin Lasagna with Fontina
I have never used fontina in my lasagna, but it sounds delish. This recipe takes advantage of all the fall vegetables. Also for those of you who enjoy a shortcut, it is made with a jar of pasta sauce.

Pumpkin Spice French Toast with Cider Syrup
Leave it to Tieghan to give us this fabulous French Toast recipe! If you have not had stuffed French Toast before, you need to try this one. It takes your basic breakfast beyond delicious.

Smoky Pumpkin Bisque With Grilled Cheese Croutons
If pesto and garlic aren't your thing, as in the above pumpkin soup, try this. Those grilled cheese croutons just may take the prize!
How Sweet Eats

Baked Pumpkin Cake Donuts With Maple Glaze & Toasted Coconut
Here is fall in one bite.  Love that they are baked and not fried.

Spicy Pumpkin Fries
{ Paleo & Whole 30 }
Something I have not tried. Have you? I can only imagine that they are yummy, as I love sweet potato fries. These are served with a homemade Chipotle Lime Mayo. Yes, please!
Tasty Yummies

Pumpkin Cupcake With Marshmallow Frosting
Oh do I love a good marshmallow frosting! I have never made it, though. This cupcake is frosted then drizzled with homemade caramel. How decadent!
