A little known fact - Baked Alaska is one of my favorite all time desserts. I haven't had it too many times, but when I have at Chicago's famed Pump Room, or at NYC'S Rainbow Room, it was memorable. In this case, it is an orange scented cake, layered with vanilla ice cream and orange sorbet, covered in meringue, then set on fire. WOW!
