Saturdays At Shop This: How Are You Doing?

Hi Friends. What a week. Hopefully you are feeling good and coping the best that you can. I had a birthday to remember (or forget ) this week, the world is even more ill than last, and I find myself teary eyed often. The news is getting to me. So I often just turn it off and listen to music, or surf Instagram for feel good photos like the adorable goats above. They made me smile, and I hope you do, too. Let's wrap up the week with some helpful links.

Easter & Passover Celebrations At Home

Funny how life has changed so much for all of us, yet the calendar keeps on turning the page. We must try to still experience some joy in our daily lives, even amid the world crisis.  Sadly, none of us will be treated to Easter Brunch or Passover dinners out this year.  So we better treat ourselves and our immediate families in a special way.  This roundup of 18 recipes are celebration worthy, no matter what you are celebrating. You can find the links to the beautiful recipes above and the gorgeous tableware to match at
Alchemy Fine Home.

Cottontail Martini
Isn't this just the cutest? The cocktail base is two liquors: whipped vodka and coconut rum. Click the link or pic to get the details.

Bagel & Smoked Salmon Board
I just love to create a board like this. The idea is to make it inviting with a spectacular presentation. This beautiful board is just perfect for any
Spring celebration. I know you will love these Walnut Serving Boards that I found HERE. Get the recipe at...

Bacon Blue Deviled Eggs
These excellent eggs are included every Easter post. They simply are the best looking and sounding deviled egg, ever. I just might finally try them this year. The ingredients include what's listed above and roasted garlic, asparagus, fresh chives, mayo, and Greek yogurt.

Roasted Beef Tenderloin With French Onion Au Jus
Picture perfect, right? It's not only easy but it is just right for any
celebration meal.

Potato Kugel Gratin
Here's a beautiful take on a classic Passover recipe. I happen to think it works well for any Springtime meal. The secret to the golden brown crust is matzo meal.

Blackberry Lime Cake
What a breath of Springtime! This recipe creates a  tender cake infused with lime zest, frosted with blackberry buttercream, then topped with fresh blackberries and edible flowers. You can find the edible flowers at Etsy, and the recipe at..

Watermelon Radish Salad Recipe
The prettiest veggie in the garden. Don’t be fooled by their name; watermelon radishes are nothing like your average watermelon.  I happen to love them, but they are hard to find.

Dreamy Lemon Cheesecake
This cheesecake is baked in a water bath which makes it extra creamy and dreamy! The crust? It's made from lemon filled sandwich cookies. Yum!

Dr. Pepper-Pineapple Glazed Ham
I just had to include this unique recipe. I get the idea, and I say why not?

Lauren Conrad's Brie & Apple Tart
This flaky puff pastry looks fancy with minimal effort. And I think it works nicely for both Easter and Passover

Citrus & Chicory Salad
With Mint
The slightly bitter chicory is topped with a Dijon-honey vinaigrette. Sweet slices of fresh citrus creates a colorful salad thanks to blood oranges. The serving dish is pretty sweet and can be
found HERE, and the recipe at

Orange Marmalade French Toast Bake
This show stopping brunch dish is made the night before serving, making it quite easy! It has a glossy finish and an amazing aroma from the marmalade.

Farmers' Market Quinoa Salad
This four fork recipe just sings Spring. It's fresh, gluten-free, and has a touch of crunch.

Lemon Herb Baked Sockeye Salmon
Sometimes simple is best. This recipe is said to be a foolproof way to prepare seafood at home.
Looks perfect!

Lemon Dream Cake
"Mr. Shop This" took a sneak peek over my shoulder. This cake won his approval by looks alone.

Apple Cheddar Quiche With
Ham and Sage
Lots of sweet and savory things going on in this recipe. A quiche is so perfect for a buffet brunch - it can be served warm or at room temperature.

Balsamic Asparagus with Goat Cheese & Tomatoes
Oh this dish brings me back to the first time I had it at Chicago's Bice Restaurant. It's so so good. The restaurant is long gone, but we all can enjoy this at home.

Raspberry Lemon Pound Cake
Isn't that a pretty presentation? It's a simple one bowl procedure. If you would like to make it as shown above, you can find the tart pan at
Sur La Table. And the recipe at.....
