This season's fashion has been really lovely. Nothing earth shattering, just very nice. I spent yesterday looking for standout styles. There were many, and it was hard to edit the list. These are what made me smile the most. As always, there is a price point for all budgets.
Anne Fontaine Andalouse Dress
Oh be still my heart. This is evening elegance at its' finest. The ruffled appliques at the neckline makes it a standout. Beautiful!
Doen Fringe Pant & Tunic Dress
Oh how I love this look! It's cut from luminous silk satin. Best yet, you can wear the dress on it's own.
The Arivine Dress
I no longer wear a mini, but if I did, this would be in my closet. Think of the fun accessorizing the look with lucite!
An oversized cotton shirt with dropped shoulders. It comes in many shades including black. This fawn shade is so perfect for warmer weather. Love it for off white and white pants.

This marvelous maxi gets my vote for the most fun dress of the season. If you are looking for something unique you will find it here.
Ulla Johnson Motherwell Pants & Top
Ulla has gone all out with her fabrics this season. These pants are a satin washed cotton poplin, with a subtle sheen. You won't see yourself coming and going in these. I would most likely pair a black top or jacket with them.

A piece like this is so fun to have in your wardrobe. You can wear it from the beach to the bistro. It's all cotton so it becomes a light layer. Very pretty over black or white pants
Miles Dress & Cardigan
Where couldn't you wear this outfit? It's creaded from a very soft knit. The touches of fringe are super fun.
Blazers and jackets are what this brand does best. Loving the many details like pleats, ruffles, and balloon sleeves.
Cargo Pants & Jacket
Love these all cotton cargo pants. It's a youthful look for sure, but dressing your age isn't always fun. The jacket is viscose, but just perfect for the pants. Both pieces are affordable.
What distinguishes this look as a "standout," is the cotton fabrication, price and ease of wear. As shown it is an easy breezy summer look. Layer a jacket or wrap over it, and it can look totally different. Love the shash on the top. Each piece is $70.
Included in this edit because you don't often find a silk and cashmere sweater. And this color "Pear" is divine, and so good with black. Also available in ivory, pink and navy.
