I'm saying "oui" to the weekend and feeling the 4th of July vibes today. No plans really, but who needs them when you are married to someone that always brings the fireworks?  Here's some interesting links that I wanted to share with you this week, but ran out of time.

And even more pink:  This pink packable wide bow straw sunhat is just too pretty AND practical. But if you aren't into pink, there are four other ribbon colors. See it at Tuckernuck.

Patriotic Pineapples: Every table needs at least one of these for the 4th of July. Now on sale at Pier1 and just too cute.

Brush Love: How do you wash your makeup brushes? I take it seriously, because I have ruined expensive brushes by using the wrong product. It's an innovative and fast drying, (as in instant) brush cleaner. The fast drying thing is key! I just ordered it from QVC.

Sunshine in a bottle: Atelier Cologne presents its first limited edition to celebrate its' 10th anniversary in an exclusive collaboration with artist Lucky Left Hand. Orange Sanguine. I've experienced the scent at Neiman Marcus.....oh my goodness. It's the scent of freshly cut blood oranges. The fragrance of Summer!

Foodie Friday: 13 All American Desserts

Chances are that many of you will be asked to bring a dish on the 4th of July. And if not that, you'll be cooking for your own celebration. When asked, I always offer to bring dessert. It's my favorite thing to make. You know, it's the scraping the bowl and licking the beaters that hits my sweet spot. And isn't a color theme just too fun not to do? Here are the red, white, and blue desserts that made me excited for the holiday. I think the Raspberry Cream Cheese Bars are calling my name. Enjoy and remember that calories don't count on the fourth.

American Flag Donuts
Start or end the holiday with a delicious donut. Aren't these fun? You better make extra, because no one will be able to pass these up!
The First Year Blog

Red Velvet Cheesecake Cake
If you ever had any of the cheesecakes made by The Cheesecake Factory, the author says, this is perfect for you. I mean...just look at all of that cream cheese frosting!
Life, Love, & Sugar

Giant Pull Apart Strawberry Shortcake
Let's face it, creating individual strawberry shortcakes can be a bit tedious, not to mention time consuming. So besides being beautiful, this recipe is genius!
Broma Bakery

Drunken Strawberries
If you aren't a baker, but want to make something festive, this couldn't be easier. And I bet every guest will have at least one.
Julie Blanner

Brioche and Berry Bread Pudding with Lemon Fondant
Here's a five star recipe from chef Tyler Florence. It looks divine, doesn't it? Made in individual ramekins, this recipe makes a
pretty presentation.
Foodnetwork

Raspberry Cream Cheese Bars
These look harder than they are. You only need 35 minutes of hands on time. After that you sit back and relax while they chill out in the fridge. Yummy!
The Seaside Baker

Easy Berry Sheet Cake
Gluten & Dairy Free
Sheet cakes are something I just don't bake. I like frosting too much, especially between the layers. But this recipe is tempting. The bonus is that this cake is about as healthy as a cake can be. It's vegan friendly and gluten, dairy, and egg free with a refined sugar free option.
Wife Mama Foodie

Red White & Blue Cheesecake Strawberries
Now isn't this a beautiful bite? Simple to make and it will feed a crowd easily.
Spicy Southern Kitchen

4th of July Blueberry Pie
Could a dessert be more perfect for the 4th? Loving that star spangled top crust. Have the kids help you cut
out the stars.
Broma Bakery

Very Berry Dessert Lasagna
I actually am a bit turned off by this name. When I think of lasagna, I think of gooey cheese and spicy sauce. This isn't that. But it is layered, and the photo looks so fluffy and fruity. It's made with an oreo crust, strawberry and blueberry mousse, and a cheesecake layer. Oh yum. It's all topped off with some
white chocolate.
OMG Chocolate Desserts

Currant-and-Berry Pavlova with
Lime Curd
If you want to impress, make this. Have you ever made homemade curd before? Don't be intimidated. You can do it. This is a wow!
Williams Sonoma Taste

Blueberry Chamomile Galette
This recipe is bursting with blueberries. And besides all of the fabulous fruit, the galette has been sweetened with chamomile infused honey. How unique, and
so very pretty.
Half Baked Harvest

Firecracker Cupcakes
Ready for some fun? These funfetti cupcakes are topped with a mound of cream cheese frosting AND Pop Rocks. Do you remember them? They will make the fireworks. Kids and adults both will love this rich cupcakes with a
kick to them.

Summer Host & Hostess Gifts

Even though Summer has just begun, the calendar is already filling up. And who doesn't love a patio party or barbecue? You simply can't come empty handed even if you do bring a dish. Something for the host or hostess is always appropriate.  No matter if you are invited for alfresco cocktails, a pool party,  or a weekend at the shore, there's something here for all of Summer's most fun occasions. Order today to get something in time for the 4th.

Rosé All Day
Everyone likes a stylish coffee table book. If he or she loves Rosé, they will actually read it, too. Of course you can make it extra special by adding a bottle of
 Whispering Angel.

I just love this brand of designer fire extinguishers.  There is an extinguisher for any theme and decor you can think of. Your host will actually want to proudly display this. And you'll get the party started when you walk in with this design. Very cute, clever, and practical!
AHALife

Cast Iron Oyster Pan
Grilled smokey oysters are just the best. Next time you are asked to bring an appetizer, bring this, and of course, some fresh shucked oysters to go with it. The crowd will roar. Leave the pan for the your host at the end of the party. I bet that they don't have one.
Sur La Table

Set Of Two Embroidered Hand Towels
The preppy hostess or anyone with a powder room will love these 100% cotton hand stitched towels. Very luxe looking.

Flameless Outdoor Candles
A brilliant gift for the outdoor entertainer. Gift just one or a grouping, in colors of your choice. Thanks to you, the party doesn't
end at sundown.

Invited to the shore? Bring any of these  Thornback and Peel pieces. There's lobster trays, aprons, tea towels, place mats and more.  Or of you are having a low country boil,
 get them for yourself.

Multi Pocket Market Tote
For your urban host or hostess. City dwellers walk to the market almost daily. Since some cities, like Chicago, charge for a bag, this makes so much sense. What makes this tote terrific are the many pockets. A nook for the carton of milk, and even a special place for wine.
 It's genius.
Food52

Vegetable Garden Markers
Sturdy enough for outdoors, but pretty enough for the window sill inside. Hand made from brass and copper, this set is perfect for the host or hostess with a green thumb.

Hand Painted Floppy Straw Hat
A personalized hat for your most stylish hostess. It's a playful gift that any girl
would love.

Wedding Wednesday: The Spring 2020 Gowns Of Your Dreams

{ Via: Vera Wang }

If you are planning a Spring 2020 wedding, surely you are dress shopping now. I purchased mine the same month that I was engaged. And if you can believe, I bought the only dress that I tried on. Who does that? And unlike the girls on "Say Yes To The Dress," there was no entourage, just a girl with a clear  idea of what she wanted to wear. If you are dress shopping or just dress dreaming, here's inspiration for what's to come next year.

Oscar De3 La Renta Spring 2020
Look #5
Dreamy and dramatic. Looks like oversized bows are still trending for next Spring.
Oscar De La Renta

Vera Wang Hyacinth Asymmetric One Shoulder Gown
Vera's theme for Spring 2020 and her 30th anniversary was simply enchanting.  As always, her designs are unique and undeniably beautiful.
Moda Operandi

Cushnie Bridal
The Alex is so very sleek and sophisticated.  A perfect choice for a second time bride. LOVE!
Moda Operandi

Carolina Herrera Lourdes Jumpsuit
Chantilly lace and a lot of grace even in a modern pantsuit. This is pretty wonderful for the bride that dares to be different.
Moda Operandi

Anne Barge Something Blue
This collection is classically chic with exquisite detailing in refined silhouettes. Love the pockets.
Zsa Zsa Bellagio

Markarian Aura Gown
Fabulous for the minimalist bride. That skirt
 is everything.
Moda Operandi

Monique Lhuillier
Like Vera Wang, this collection was presented in an enchanted garden. It's meant to be a captivating fantasy. This gown with the sheer cape reminds me a bit of Juliet.
Monique Lhuillier

Love Shack Fancy Irene Gown
Something for the beautiful boho bride.
It's budget friendly.
Moda Operandi

Vera Wang Camelia
Just ethereal! The movement of this gown is so gorgeous. And I don't mind the flower one bit.
Moda Operandi

Christian Siriano Tulle Gown
I just had to add a black dress to the edit. You see, my own Miss Shop This plans to wear black at her wedding. Which means I can't. But it is her special day, so be it. This is fabulously fun!
