I had no words or inspiration this morning. I was up late with Ms. Shop This as we watched her neighborhood being ravaged in NYC. She felt frightened, and sad. But most of all, she was compassionate. Her tears came from her heart which was hurting. She vowed to help her neighborhood businesses clean up. She was concerned about her doormen who were feet apart from the mayhem on the street. I was so proud of her. This is what we all can do - reach out. Anger helps nothing, nor do photo ops with bibles. Compassion will heal our souls. So today, I simply present a few meaningful quotes that I hope will inspire us all to care more about others.
