Presto Pesto! Recipes For The End Of Summer

Experienced some Internet issues yesterday, and had to scratch the planned post. So I bring to you, from the archives, a fan favorite: Presto Pesto! One of my favorite condiments is pesto. When invited over to my home, you'll be served it in one form or another. I have grown a big crop of basil this Summer, which has been so much fun. If you are in a cooking rut, pesto will add the pizazz to any dish. Here's inspiration.

Best Easy Pesto

This can be whipped up in five minutes. And that is why I make several times a week with fresh basil from my garden. This is a good recipe that creates a creamy sauce. I will add my pro tips: Go easy on the olive oil...use a little at a time, until you get a thick creamy sauce. Also, you absolutely do not need nuts. I make them both ways. And if you don't have basil, kale, spinach, or almost any green veggie will work. Experiment!
