The Pantone Color Of The Year, Ultra Violet, was a surprise to many, including myself. After all, decorating with such a saturated purple takes a little courage. It's dramatically provocative and certainly makes a statement. Wonderful on an accent wall, chic when colorblocked, and terrific on a table with dinnerware and accents. Company's Coming: Ready The Guest Room

AND THE WINNER WORE BLACK......

The carpet was red and the guests wore black at the 75th Golden Globes. There was so many dramatic dresses, and Kendall Jenners's ( see above )was one of my favorites. Surrounding the glitz and grandeur was a strong message that shed light on victims of sexual assault and racial or gender inequality.
