Foodie Friday: Pumpkin Perfect Recipes

Have you had a taste of pumpkin yet? Last Friday at Adalina Restaurant, we had the yummiest dessert of warm apple cider donuts filled with pumpkin puree and covered with caramel sauce. Oh My! So I was in the mood for pumpkin spice and everything nice today. This recipe roundup features both sweet and savory pumpkin dishes. Enjoy it all.

Pumpkin Spice White Russian
Is it dessert or a cocktail? It sure looks creamy and dreamy. That cinnamon sugar rim is perfection.

Pumpkin Queso
Oh boy does this look good. Queso, if you haven't had it before, is a bit like Swiss Fondue. It's cheesy,  gooey, and you dip tortillas or corn chips in it. Yummy.

Pumpkin & Brie Crostini with Candied Nuts
What a perfect appetizer for this time of year! These may look fancy, but no worries, anyone can make them. My hosting experience tells me that guests really love a good crostini.

Mile High Pumpkin Pie
Each year I try to find a pumpkin pie that beats last years. Regular pumpkin pie is just boring to me. This recipe takes pumpkin pie to a new level. How could that mile high heaping of meringue not be fabulous?

Roasted Garlic & Sage Pesto Pumpkin Soup
The garlic, sage and homemade pesto takes this pumpkin soup up many  notches. Turns out it is a Half Baked Harvest recipe but I found it at....

Pumpkin Risotto With Goat Cheese and Dried Cranberries
For a girl who never eats rice, risotto is one of my favorite foods. Go figure. This recipe will be made before the year is out. It features an earthiness combined with a creamy zing from the goat cheese and cranberries.

Spiced Pumpkin Dip
What a fun dessert or afternoon snack. It will taste just like Pumpkin Cheesecake, but it is easier to make. Whip it up in minutes, then provide your guests all of your favorites to dip, like cookies, apple slices, marshmallows etc.

Sage Butter Pumpkin Cheese Ravioli
A brand new recipe from Tieghan. It sure looks like a bowl of comfort!

Healthy Pumpkin Pancakes
I am still not sure if I need my pancakes to be healthy, but if they can look this good, why not? These are made with whole wheat flour. This recipe also calls for oat milk, but feel free to use what works best for you.

Pumpkin Chicken Chili
I have a feeling that this will be your "go to" fall chili recipe. I am going to try it this weekend.

No Churn Pumpkin Cheesecake Ice Cream
Now this alone or on top of pumpkin pie is a dessert worth the calories. No churn means no machine needed. I make it all of the time. The recipe is as easy as ice cream and pie.

Fall Harvest Salad With Pumpkin Goddess Dressing
This recipe is filled with textures and tastes. The dressing looks amazing, and it is made with plain Greek style yogurt and pure maple syrup. Add some protein like grilled chicken to make it a meal.

Pumpkin Lasagna with Fontina
I have never used fontina in my lasagna, but it sounds delish. This recipe takes advantage of all the fall vegetables. Also for those of you who enjoy a shortcut, it is made with a jar of pasta sauce.

Pumpkin Spice French Toast with Cider Syrup
Leave it to Tieghan to give us this fabulous French Toast recipe! If you have not had stuffed French Toast before, you need to try this one. It takes your basic breakfast beyond delicious.

Smoky Pumpkin Bisque With Grilled Cheese Croutons
If pesto and garlic aren't your thing, as in the above pumpkin soup, try this. Those grilled cheese croutons just may take the prize!
How Sweet Eats

Baked Pumpkin Cake Donuts With Maple Glaze & Toasted Coconut
Here is fall in one bite.  Love that they are baked and not fried.

Spicy Pumpkin Fries
{ Paleo & Whole 30 }
Something I have not tried. Have you? I can only imagine that they are yummy, as I love sweet potato fries. These are served with a homemade Chipotle Lime Mayo. Yes, please!

Pumpkin Cupcake With Marshmallow Frosting
Oh do I love a good marshmallow frosting! I have never made it, though. This cupcake is frosted then drizzled with homemade caramel. How decadent!
