2021 Home Decor Trend: Cane

{ Alchemy Fine Home }

Today's cane is not your Grandmother's cottage decor. More than shabby chic, it leans towards modern sophistication. I happen to have a beautiful Baker cane chair in storage, that I haven't seen in over 25 years. After shopping for this edit, a revisit is in order. My favorite is the Four Hands June Chair below.

What's yours?

Macayla Mirrored Armchair
The John Richards leopard chair has so much to love like leopard, the curves, and the mirrored back. Click the link below to see that terrific touch!

Harbour Cane Upholstered Convertible Crib

Isn't this the sweetest? The fabric end panels of the crib simulate caning. The matching changing table features cane shelves.

These days, some kind of bar cabinet is almost a necessity. This one is really unique and exclusive to CB. Inside you will find a mirrored back panel, which adds the luxe to your libations.

A versatile piece that can instantly turn an office or den into a guest room. Without the styling of pillows and throw, it is a rather modern look. Doll it up with comfy decor and the look changes to

Bohemian chic!

2021 Home Trend: Back To BOUCLÉ

Back To Nature With Rattan

{ Via: One King's Lane }

The seventies are back in all walks of life - from fashion and weddings to home decor. Everything old is new again. Our first apartment featured heavily textured grass cloth wallpaper, and one of those iconic rattan peacock chairs.  My younger self thought it was quite chic. Today's styles are even better. The Sienna side chairs above are the perfect example of how rattan can bridge the gap between modern and traditional. Here's inspiration.

Balboa Chairs

Proof that rattan can be fashionably formal, too. The touch of brass on the chair legs adds the luxe. And on the wall is the new Verano wallpaper.

Super chic with hand strung rattan cinched with a steel band, then finished in gold. It's a wow in black, as well.

One Kings Lane

Jamie Young Lounge Chair

This is how I think I would do rattan today. The black rattan elevates the classic cain to another level of style. A bit more sophisticated. Love it!
