Celebration Cocktails: Cheers!

Entertaining this weekend? Greet guests with a house cocktail or signature drink.  Doing so makes for a warm welcome, and gives everyone something to talk about. Most of all it's fun! This recipe roundup offers maximum chill for summer days and nights. Cheers and Happy 4th!

Casa Independence Day
This pretty punch is a tequila drink blended with summer berries. Ole!

Firecracker Champagne Paloma
This recipe had me at those adorable ice cubes! This is a simple, quick, and festive cocktail with a special 4th of July touch.

Watermelon Frosé
Greet me with this cocktail, and I may never leave. It's super easy, and no blender required. This cocktail also looks wonderful in a champagne coup.

Blueberry Coconut Sparkler
Fresh blueberries, coconut rum and ginger ale combine to make a festive drink with just the right hint of tropical paradise. The coconut flakes on the rim are a fun final touch

Pink Lemonade Moscato
I have never actually had moscato, but it sounds good. With sweet flavors of peaches and orange blossoms, it is perfect for summer. What a delightful drink it creates!

Popsicle Cocktails & Mocktails
These chic cocktails are made with champagne, but if you want to make them non-alcoholic, you can substitute sparkling water.

Star Spangled Mule
The berries make this recipe special for the 4th and beyond. This is a celebration in a mug!

Red White and Blue Layered Cocktail
With lemonade-infused vodka, grenadine and blue curacao, this makes a lovely layered drink you can serve over ice. Click over to watch a step by step video.

Red,White & Blue Sangria
You can never go wrong with Sangria, especially in the summer months. Make sure you make enough. This is a crowd pleasing recipe!

Firecracker Berry Margarita Floats
I will always opt to drink my dessert. What about you? These are a gorgeous afternoon treat or evening dessert for any summer day.

Foodie Friday: All American Desserts

This truly will be a different 4th of July Holiday. Most fireworks have been cancelled, and the "DIY" fireworks seem to be sold out coast to coast. I guess that we will just have to make our own sparkle. One way to do that is with homemade food. Today we feature All American desserts, because don't we all need a little sweetness with all that is going around us?  The recipes are very celebration worthy. Enjoy and
be safe, please.

No Bake Summer Berry Cheesecake
{ Vegan, Gluten Free, Wheat Free }
What a beauty and a very special red, white and blue dessert! Coconut Cream is a main ingredient. It's an easy recipe but needs to be made the day before and frozen overnight. Get going!

Miss All American Pie
Some of you may remember that classic song. It's a good name for this perfect pie for the 4th of July. You could also call it a Mixed Berry Pie. As the author states, "It’s essentially like if a fresh strawberry pie and a blueberry pie had a baby. What’s not to love?"

Angel Food Cake With Minted Strawberries
How lovely right? It is layered with Mascarpone Cream. This cake promises to be light and airy, just like any angel food cake should be.

Greek Yogurt Fruit Bites
I love a one or two bite dessert. It really is all we need. In this cake, flaky fillo shells are filled with a sweetened greek yogurt whipped cream and topped with fresh fruit. Cute!

Skillet Blueberry Bourbon Pandowdy
Now this is a twist on an American classic. It's pretty, festive and
easy to make.
Half Baked Harvest

Bursting Blueberry Lemon
Layer Cake
I am a chocolate cake girl, but lemon cake comes in second place. And aren't blueberries and lemons a delicious duo?  This cake promises lots of oohs
and aahs.
Half Baked Harvest

White Chocolate Cheesecake
White chocolate is everything in a cheesecake. I have made it often. The crust is made from sugar cookies, and the finished cake is topped with a beautiful mixture of fresh berries.
Bakers Royale

No Churn Blueberry Cheesecake
 Ice Cream
With a delightful cheesecake flavor, graham cracker texture, and an easy no-churn method, this is the perfect ending to a cookout. By the way, I make no churn ice cream weekly.
It is easy!
Grandbaby-Cakes

4th Of July Cake Vodka Milkshake
You know that I had to get some booze involved. This stylish shake is for all of my vodka loving friends. There is actually no cake involved. it is made with flavored "cake vodka."
Tipsy Bartender

Summer Berry Fool
With only six ingredients, this dessert is special and so easy to whip up!

Strawberry Jello Pie
Gluten & Dairy Free
As gorgeous as it looks on the outside, this pie is pretty on the inside, too. This is a treat the kids will enjoy, as well.
Heather  Christo

Roasted Raspberry Peach Tart
What a Summer showstopper! I have found roasting fruit or veggies really intensifies the flavor. The end result is worth the effort.

Strawberry Basil Shortcakes
This not too sweet version of an all American classic is unique with the addition of basil. Sounds fabulous to me.

Can you believe it is already the 4th of July? Time to fire up the grill and get your menu together. Here's a roundup of recipes that are sure to set off some foodie fireworks.

HERE: 17 Ways To Celebrate The 4th

Frozen Watermelon Rosé Sangria Slushies
Cheers to the long Holiday weekend! I'll drink to that with this gorgeous frozen cocktail slushy.
Half Baked Harvest

New England Lobster Rolls with Lemon Chive Mayonnaise
Nothing says celebration like lobster. This recipe is easy with only a few ingredients. The top split bun is essential, for presentation. Whole Foods has them.

Charred Caprese Sandwiches
"How do you improve on a classic Caprese? Grill your tomatoes—and create a Charred Caprese Sandwich." Especially perfect for a picnic!
Epicurious

Red Velvet Bundt Cake Royale
Bundt cakes are a "thing" these days. In my view, dark chocolate, and the drama of red velvet, has always been a magical thing!
Sprinkle Bakes

Red,White, And Blue Potato Salad
I believe that I may have posted this recipe before. Normally a mustard and mayonnaise made potato salad is expected.....and boring. No mayo in sight in this recipe, but you will find bacon, red wine vinegar, mustard, and more.
Heather Christo

Blueberry, Strawberry & Jicama Salsa
Not only is this salsa pretty, it is full of flavor and crunch, too. It has a little bite, with the Jalapeno, but if you prefer you can leave it out.
Two Peas And Their Pod

Nathalie Dupree’s Liberty Cobbler
This easy and patriotic recipe was created for the celebration of The Statue Of Liberty's 100th birthday in 1986. I am sure it has stood the test of time!
The New York Times

Grilled Baby Back Ribs with Citrus Barbecue Sauce
Growing up, this is what we had for dinner on the 4th. Please make this sauce. It is delicious and without all of the preservatives of that "stuff" in a bottle.
Strawberry Summer Water
Here's a treat for the non drinkers at your party. They will swear that they spent a day at the Spa, after being served this fresh and fruity drink.
How Sweet It Is

Watermelon Burrata Salad
Burrata is my new obsession. If I ever plan to eat cheese, it will be Burrata. It is so creamy! Top the colorful fruit and cheese with a drizzle of honey.
I Am A Food Blog

Jalapeño Cheddar Guacamole Turkey Burgers with Crispy Onions
Thinking about doing burgers? Give your guests a little something different. The secret component is roasting the peppers first, and then adding to the ground turkey.
Half Baked Harvest

Nacho Hot Dogs
These are for Mr. Shop This. Purists may not be on board for these dressed up dogs, but I think they look dog gone good!
Food and Wine

Red, White, and Booze Bam-Boozled Shake
I have never met a shake that I didn't love. Add a little Jack Daniels and blueberry and strawberry jam, and watch the fireworks explode.
Cosmopolitan

One Tequila, Two Tequila, Three Tequila.  Ceviche!
Add some blue corn chips and it is so very on point for the 4th of July.
Elle Decor

No Bake Cheesecake Triple Berry Tart
Said to be embarrassingly simple, this five star recipe is just picture perfect.

The Best Grilled Steak Marinade Recipe
Any good grilled food begins with a marinade. This one sounds amazing.
Root and Reval

Marinated Grilled Vegetables With Avocado Whipped Feta
Here's how to get anyone to eat their veggies and love them! This recipe has lots of ingredients but it is not difficult to create.
How Sweet It Is

Red White and Blue Vanilla Fudge
I found my dessert for a July 3rd barbecue. Who doesn't love a sweet bite of fudge?
Growing Up Gabel

Fourth Of July Cocktail
The overall flavor of this drink is a blend of pomegranate and orange, but not too sweetsy. The presentation of these cocktails will really get your party going
