Festive Fall Cocktails & Appetizers

There is so much to celebrate this season! Let's begin with The World Series. This is the only year in my life that I have had an interest in these games. Then of course, Halloween calls for grown up cocktails.  We have football Saturdays and Sundays and right around the corner, Thanskgiving. What are you going to serve as stylish starters? I have some recipes for you.

Mushroom, Butternut Squash & Gruyère Tart
A buttery tart with plenty of warm spice like nutmeg, that would look so beautiful on your kitchen island.
Food and Wine

A little sweet, a little tart with a bit of bitter undertone. Sounds sophisticated!
Bakers Royale

Persimmons Wrapped In Smoked Ham
In peak season right now, this recipe calls for the sweet Fuji variety of persimmon. these beautiful bites couldn't be easier.
Williams Sonoma

Smokey Harvest Apple Cider Margaritas
Made with Mezcal, tequilla's smokey sibling. That pretty rim? Cinnamon sugar. I think this might be my house drink for Thanskgiving.

Butternut Squash and Caramelized Onion Crostini
{ Vegan & Gluten Free }
This appetizer just screams Autumn. You'll love the creamy squash puree and the pomegranate seeds, too.

Mulled Wine Two Ways
Spiced warm cocktails. What a comfort they are in the Fall and Winter! As the author calls them, these are like a big fat "Hug in a Mug."

Walnut And Honey Baked Brie
Who doesn't love warm gooey cheese? This is a very easy, but impressive appetizer to pull together within 30 minutes.
Francois & Moi

Spooky Orange Creamsicle Martini
Your Signature cocktail at the Halloween party! With only four ingredients, it is super easy to whip up. It's made with Whipped Cream flavored Vodka. Now that sounds interesting!

Sweet Potato Pear Soup
Slightly sweet, a little tart, and deeply soothing. Mini vessels of soup are always an elegant way to welcome your guests.

Three ingredient Blue Cheese Appetizer
This one is said to be "idiot proof." I bet it is. My family would love it....it is made with refrigerated "grands" biscuits!
