Wedding Wednesday: The Dish On Registries

Now that you are engaged, take a minute and enjoy being in love. Then when the time feels right, take a breath and get going. You have work to do! Creating a registry can be fun but it is quite a bit of decision making. I urge you to look into the highest end stores, home blogs and magazines for inspiration. There you will find timeless, classic and on trend styles.  Just because prices might seem expensive to you, doesn't mean your guests won't be delighted to buy what you select. Dream big!

Top Your Table
Even if you don't plan to serve "fancy" today, think about the future. Might you have your colleagues or boss for dinner or cocktails? Wouldn't you want to put your best foot forward? My suggestion is to register for two different types of dishes. Something for everyday, and another set for dressier events. Why not? Your guests are buying!

Villeroy and Bach New Wave
I became acquainted with this modern pattern at my neighbor's home.  It works perfectly in her urban environment. Without a pattern, it can mix with all color palettes and decor styles. It just may be the answer for the perfect pattern for everyday or fine dining.
