Foodie Friday: A Beautiful Bunch Of Grape Recipes

{ Via:  Instagram }

I've heard it through the grapevine that it's harvest season! Of course those words bring visions of barrels of wine in Napa Valley. But there's more to Fall's fabulous fruit than wine. We can actually cook with grapes. You will be a believer once you scroll through these sweet and savory recipes. I promise there are no sour grapes in the bunch!

HERE: 14 Fabulous Fall Fruit Recipes

Purple Grape Tart
Let's start with dessert first, shall we? This dish is truly grape perfection. The custard is enhanced with a dose of cognac or brandy. Doesn't that sound tasty?
Williams-Sonoma

Roasted Grape Toasts
These are beautiful!  What's not to like about thyme-infused grapes over a dollop of homemade ricotta? The grilled bread makes it a complete snack.

Fall Harvest Cider Roasted Chicken
With Walnut Goat Cheese + Grapes
This one is for the boy I love. Doesn't this dish just beg for a cool Sunday afternoon?  It's beautiful, for sure, and one recipe that I will be making very soon.
Half Baked Harvest

Cardamon Grapes Wrapped in Blue Cheese & Pistachios
What a fab find this recipe is! I am making this tonight for a quick appetizer with wine.  It's a lovely combination of flavors with a surprise sweet center....which is the grape. And those bamboo picks are great. I always have some at home. You can get 300 of them
 for $8 at Amazon.

Grilled Pork Chops With Concord Grapes
I often pair cranberries in a red wine reduction sauce for pork. So this makes sense, and is a must make for me.

Concord Grape Cornbread with Rosemary Whipped Cream
Oh my this sounds fabulous! The author tells us that this recipe is more like a corncake than bread. It's a bit crunchy with juicy bursts of grape flavor. Yum!

Roasted Grape, Goat Cheese, & Honey Sweet Potatoes
Oh how appealing! This recipe works for any meal. I'm thinking it will be a nice switch up at the Thanksgiving table. I wonder if my crew will allow it?
How Sweet Eats

Concord Grape Cobbler
If even possible, this looks better than a peach cobbler. I do love a concord grape....so much intense flavor in that little tiny grape! They surely would make a fabulous cobbler. This recipe calls for making it in a skillet. So easy to transport from oven to table. Don't forget
 the ice cream.
Arthur Street Kitchen

Harvest Salad With Gorgonzola, Bacon, and Concord Grapes
Don't you just love a good looking salad? The Bibb Lettuce adds the pretty, the grapes add the sweet, and the bacon and hazelnuts add the crunch.

Grape Sorbet
The beautiful deep color of this frozen treat comes from black grapes. It is said to be super easy with only four ingredients plus water. An unexpected desert for sure.

Caramelized Onion, Brie, Grape Phyllo Tart
Rich and decadent with preserved lemon and watercress, it is the perfect appetizer.
The Food Gays

Late Summer Oat Milk Smoothie
Pretty as a picture, right? I don't drink smoothies generally, but this one looks fabulous. This smoothie is layered to create a "healthy and good for you" beautiful drink. Figs, honey, vanilla , and cinnamon are added for a smoothie layered with flavor.
Golubka Kitchen

Roasted Black Grapes
Here's a quick and easy appetizer that is totally unexpected, but ever so elegant. This is worth a try. Serve it with your cheese plates for something different!
The View From Grand Island

Zinfandel, Grape, Rosemary + Gin Crush
I couldn't leave you high and dry without a cocktail, could I? Be prepared. This delicious drink takes a little time. It begins with muddling grapes and rosemary. And then the mixture is strained...told you that you have to work for your cocktail, but it will be so worth it. Cheers!
