It's International Women's Day. Shouldn't every day celebrate both women AND men? Hopefully some day we will get there. The #MeToo and #TimesUp movements have been a step in the right direction. Hands up to the courageous women who have found their voice. According to Vogue the day is:  a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women. It aims to advance gender parity." Today I applaud the Mattel Company for their 15 new dolls for its “Shero” and “Inspiring Women” collections, which are “role model” dolls crafted in the likeness of real iconic women.  Here's to a bright and equal future for our daughters and granddaughters.
