Spring Trend: A Change Of Lace

Lace is no longer for ladies who lunch. The designers have changed it up a bit. It's pretty but with an unexpected edge. A white lace dress no longer looks bridal when you add a plunging neckline and a bit of black. A basic white tee gets a luxe look with boning and slashes of black lace. So, did you watch? I never miss The Oscars. Like many, the fashion and Red Carpet is what I like best, but really I enjoy it all. This year the styles did not disappoint. Even the men in their perfectly fitted tuxes and skinny bow ties looked great. I had several take aways from the show, but the one that stood out the most was the number of bright pink styles. Wow!
