April Showers Style

Today's inspiration came from the weekend's weather. Wow was it ever nasty in my part of the world!  I needed Megan Hess's stylish Umbrella (above) for both rain and snow showers. Don't worry, I am not talking about the fine lines on our face, though mine need to be addressed soon! Today it is all about the lines that create one of Spring's best trends. The Skinny Scarf is back and just may be Spring's "Must Have" accessory. In Europe it actually has been trending since last Spring, and more so here since Fall. It is a terrific transitional piece for the new season, when it doesn't make sense to wear anything bulky around your neck. The scarves are plain or printed, fringed and bejeweled. They can lean "Boho Chic," but these sleek scarves also pair well with other styles. It's all about how you tie one on.
