Saturdays At Shop This

Have your party shoes ready? We have had our favorite holiday party cancelled this week, so I might get dressed and just lie down. The shoes spoke to me as I just purged my shoe closet and gave away 55 pairs of pumps! This personal shopper is pooped and partied out. Here's some links to wrap up the week.

History Lesson: The Aluminum Christmas Tree. Did you have one growing up? We sure did, and it even had a color wheel light. We felt very "fancy pants" with it all. This is a good read and a fun trip down memory lane.

The Sweet Sites of Succession: Have you been watching? I need to catch up over the holiday. It is just so so good. One King's Lane offers a picturesque article on the show's Italian locales, Karl Lagerfeld's estate, and more!

Playing Footsie: I get regular pedicures, but this time of year plays havoc with my feet, especially heels. I finally found a product that works.  It's the Beekman 1802 Goat Milk Foot Balm Duo Set. OMG! What a difference it has made with my feet! I especially love it because it is clean beauty!

I gasped when I saw these Manolo Blahnik's Bordeaux mesh pumps. That gold kitten heel is so fab!

Neiman Marcus is here to save Christmas! They are offering Two Day Free Shipping on over 2,700 gifts if you order by noon on 12/21 with Code: NMHURRY.

I have been wearing these Barefoot Dreams wide leg pants on repeat around the house. They are so so cozy, super soft, and warm! Treat yourself or someone else to a pair. Order by 12/19 at 11:59 AM, and they will arrive by Christmas!

Holiday Hair: I swear by R+Co's Balloon Dry Volume Spray! Saks sells two sizes, so you an even try out the product for less.

Foodie Friday: Decadent Desserts For The Holidays

It's the holidays and time to go all out. As far as I am concerned, there is no such thing as too much of a "good thing,"  at this time of year. If you are hosting, give your guests one last present, at the end of your meal, a decadent dessert.  A beautiful buffet, a candy cane cake. sugared cranberries and pink marshmallow frosting are all the ingredients of the perfect ending to a holiday meal. Most importantly, don't be afraid to sprinkle everything you create with love!

Oh how I love this color combination! Manuel Canovas' Bengale in Paprika in orange and pink. It just couldn't be more special

Decorate with fruit and greenery! Simple serving pieces become dazzling displays of festive fare.

A clean and bright look at Coco and Kelly! Love the chalkboard name tags? I found circle chalkboard stickers at Paper-Source and some festive flatware at Anthropologie.  Image at

My kind of Holiday table.  As you can see, black and white is the theme, and of course, it looks more than festive.

Don't forget those chairs! I actually have done this. Your guests will feel so invited to the table with beribboned and stylish seats.

For the traditional home. Lots of plaid and plenty of fruit create a traditional table. Simple yet still stunning.

A Rustic Holiday Table
Country chic and just fabulous! Notice the loaf of bread used as a candleholder. All of the details add up to some kind of wonderful!

And for New Years....all you need is is a sense of imagination, a handful of glitter and a pop of color!
