The Oscars are just days away. If you are like me, the most interesting part of the award show is the red carpet. It's always exciting to see not only the gorgeous gowns, but the best beauty looks, as well. There is one thing for sure, just like us, the celebrities don't wake up that way. With a little help from some wonderful beauty products, all of us can create our own star studded looks. Here's inspiration.

On the red carpet, it is all about luminosity. A matte face has no dimension. This is a veil of radiance that will add light to your face wherever it is needed. Or one can mix it with their foundation, which is exactly what I would do. Whether you wear it alone, with your base or on top of your makeup, it will awaken your complexion.

Eyes To Mesmerize
Charlotte Tilbury has created the prettiest eyeshadow I have ever seen. It is a cream to sheen eyeshadow. No sparkle or glitter, just high shine. I personally use this color. It's called "Marie Antoinette." It's perfect for an evening look, in the crease of the lid and under the bottom lashes.

Pure Canvas Primer
Do you use a primer? I just started in December. I have to say that I don't love the "feel" of mine, but it certainly does extend the wear of my foundation. If you want a perfect makeup look that lasts all night, you need one. This will be my next tube. It targets your specific skin concerns while extending the wear of your makeup. It's new and without many of the chemicals that are so bad for our health.

Makeup artist Charlotte Tilbury knows a thing or two about Red Carpet beauty. This set is inspired by her red carpet tips and tricks.  It is perfect for those who long for a golden, candle-lit complexion. It's also a good buy. I am going to try it.

I have just discovered this beautiful brand in the last year or so. It's a luxury cream formulation that laminates lips in a second skin of saturated color.  It also offers rich hydration and protection from free radicals. The name and color is inspired by Donatella Versace. The perfect nude shade to wear with a smoky eye.
