Happy Spring, my friends! I already have two invitations for Spring weddings. If you are like me, the first thought you might have when opening the invite is "What will I wear?"  A few rules of thumb: If the invitation states, Black Tie or Cocktail Attire, they want you to dress up. One needs to honor that request. Unpack that everyday heavy handbag. A chic clutch is more appropriate. And finally, it should go without saying that you don't wear the same color as the bride.
