Saturday's At Shop This

{ Via: ZsaZsaBellagio }

It's been a terrible week in this country. But always wanting to keep things positive, there's a little bit of happiness going on in my part of the world. Chicago is about to slowly "come out" this week. My building is out of lock down Monday.  So next week, I happily look forward to a little pampering, and a cookout on our deck. YES! Here's some links for the small pleasures in life.

Self Care: It's important.  Goop gives us  a night of self care with a free GOOPGLOW 15% Overnight Peel. Use Code OVERNIGHT with any
beauty purchase.

Who knew that one could get so excited about just heading to an outdoor deck as I am? If you have your own, you'll enjoy the One Kings Lane "Styling Tips for Every Outdoor Space."

Now that most states can get out a little, what are you wearing? Treat yourself to something casual at Splendid. 40% off Dresses + up to 80% off Sale Items all Weekend-Long!

More simple pleasures: A fun game with friends or each other. Mexican Train. I look forward to playing this game outside this Summer.

In a world of NO why not just say yes? Loving the Clare V "Oui" sweatshirt at Anthropologie.

For the Kiddos: Beam them up, Scotty! Camp may be off this year, but that doesn't mean you can't create a space that's both inspiring and maybe even educational.  All of your aspiring astronauts will love this fun Space edit at Maisonette.

The one thing that we all can still do is have a cocktail outside at home. These acrylic animal print stemless wine glasses are so chic!

During lockdown, I have lost all of my nails. I used acrylic, but not any more. Looking forward to a regular manicure next week.  I have decided to use nail lacquers with the least amount of chemicals. My research tells me Deborah Lippmann and Smith & Cult's  are two of the safest. I have chosen S & C's Sugarette. Love it.

Going to cut this post short, as it is my anniversary. Shout to my guy,"Mr. Shop This." Thank you for being my baby's Daddy and the love of my life.
This weekend, try to find the joy in small pleasures, like a manicure, a walk, an alfresco dinner at home. That's exactly what I will be
doing. Please join me.

Outdoor Kitchen Essentials

{ Via: Williams Sonoma }

Inspiration for this post came from my love of cooking out and this gorgeous grill by Hestan.  With its' hefty price tag, I am sure that it does your grocery shopping, too.  We cookout often, and there are tools that I still wish I had. Each item in this edit just might be something that you didn't know you needed. And if you are looking for a Summer host gift, any one of these will get you invited back.

Cedar Planks, Set of 4, with Plank Saver
You haven't had salmon until you cooked it on a cedar plank. The cedar flavor is imparted into the fish during the cooking process. Yummy! Looks like it is great
for oysters, too.

Charcoal Companion Himalayan Salt Block
You have heard me talking about the health benefits of Himalayan sea salt before. Here's an entire healthy block that you can actually use on your grill.  The natural and mineral rich flavors are instantly infused into anything you cook on this pretty pink piece. It's also good for sushi (off the grill) and can be placed in the freezer. Genius!

Corn Grilling Basket Set
Grilled corn with a touch of char is one of Summer's sweetest offerings. I love the scent of smoke. This simple invention gets the job done, and keeps the
corn from burning.

Nonstick Mesh Grilling Bags
Oh these make so much sense. They are nonstick so noting sticks to the bag or the grill. loving it for small potatoes, broccoli and so much more.

Bourbon Grill Wood
Not a very pretty picture, but the idea of this product sounds fabulous! This wood will add the unmistakable taste of of rich bourbon soaked oak to anything you grill.
Amazon

Steak Button Thermometers
I grew up with my Father, a self proclaimed grill master, using these. In our family, no two people liked their steaks at the same temperature. Don't they make sense?
Sur La Table

Oslo Partyclette for Cheese & Barbecue
Now we can have ooey gooey cheese on anything we grill. Actually it looks like this is Mac & Cheese. which is the perfect dinner companion to barbecue.
Amara

Emil Henri Chicken Roaster
Yes, beer can chicken is a "thing," but it's not very classy, is it? And that can of beer won't let you collect the juices from the chicken, or add veggies to the vessel. Now on sale, this clay roaster can stand heat up to 900 degrees.
Fire up that grill!

Smoker Box
Now we can turn any grill into a smoker. This portable box is compatible with all grill types. Simply fill the bottom compartment with aromatic wood chips or fragrant herbs. This sounds fun, especially since it is on sale for a limited time.

"Mortgage Lifter" Heirloom Tomato Bourbon BBQ Sauce
I always say that homemade is healthier and tastier. But I trust those Beekman Boys, and love their products. And who else makes sauce from heirloom tomatoes that they grow themselves? It's a cute story how this sauce came to be, oh and it is gluten free.
 I'm ordering it.

Grillight Tools
Here's your next party trick, and Summer's best host gift.  Because the party needs to keep going after the sun goes down. These magical tools come with built in LED lights.
