Festive Fudge, Christmas Cookies, & Gifts For Bakers

{ Via: Half Baked Harvest }

I grew up with a Mom who baked and baked and baked at the Holidays. Her collection of Christmas tins stuffed with cookies were legendary. I miss them. My skills are no where near hers, but I do a little baking, especially fudge. Today's recipe roundup also features great gifts for the bakers in your life.  Scroll down and get inspired to bake this weekend. 'Tis the season!

Foodie Friday: Tailgate Recipes & More

Ready for some football? Whether you are or not, chances are your spouses are. For many like myself, eating and drinking in Fall's cool crisp air, is even more fun than the game itself. Chips and burgers are fine, but why not wow your crowd with something creative? I promise that this recipe roundup will score big with
football fans.

The Best Bloody Mary Bar
If you are starting early, like the most die hard fans do, a Bloody Mary is a must. Make it a bar, and you now have everyone's attention. Your guests are interacting and serving themselves. It's a win win for everyone. This article gives you great tips on making the best bloodies ever!

Annoyingly Addicting Bourbon
 Apple Fritters

Chicken Wings
Am I the only person you know that has never had a chicken wing? They are just "eewww" to me. But I know that they are a stadium staple for hungry fans. If I were to make them, it would be this recipe. Their gorgeous color and tart and sticky honey sweet taste, really step up this football classic.  PS. The wings are made with gluten-free flour.

Cheese "Burker" Sliders & Samuel Adams Ketchup

Foodie Friday: Chili, Cornbread & Cookie Bars

How do you do the big game? My cheering section will be small, but we will eat well. I'm thinking a Super Bowl (couldn't resist) of chili cooking all day sounds good.  Cornbread is a must with chili in this household. Then of course, a cookie is always a perfect sweet bite after such a big meal. So this recipe features my ideal big game meal. These recipes will score at your home, too.

HERE: 20 Super Recipes

Sweet Potato And White Bean Chili
Let's begin with something different.  the recipe had me at sage, which is one of my favorite spices for Fall and Winter. It's hearty but meatless, which for many, is a good thing. And how about that beautiful Staub Pot? It's been greatly reduced. Shop it HERE

Cheesy Jalapeno Cornbread
Cheesy just like cornbread should be. And this one is a little bit sweet, and I'm not mad about that. My personal tip for any recipe that has a touch of "heat" to it, is to add some sweetness to balance it all out. This recipe calls for honey, which is a healthier alternative than sugar.

Margarita Bars
You think there will be any tequila tasting on Sunday? If you prefer to eat your booze than drink it, this recipe is so for you. It's perfect for game day.

Meaty Enchilada Chili Dip
Looks like chili to me, but if it is a dip, it's even better. Guaranteed there will be some double dipping going on.

Rosemary Cornbread With Goat
Cheese Butter
To me, nothing could sound any better.

Boozy Pecan Pie Bars With Sea Salt
{ Gluten Free & Vegan }
Have you ever had pecan pie with liquor in it. This home cook has never made it without some good bourbon. This is a simple no bake dessert that promises to be "the bomb."

Instant Pot Vegetarian Chili
Thanks to the Insta Pot, this recipe cooks in minutes not hours. It's thick texture and robust blend of spices will satisfy even a meat lover.

Rosemary-Pecan Cornbread
{ Gluten Free }
Unique and sounds so good. Anything made in a skillet is better than not.

Beerscotti: Chocolate Beer Biscotti, Made with Beer
I like to say that you will never find anything on my blog that I don't love. This may be partially an exception. I mean a frosty cold bear is good on a hot day, but generally speaking I don't crave one. So the inclusion of this ever so unique recipe is for all of your beer lovers.
This cookie is for you!

Easy Jalapeno Chicken Chili And Cheddar Polenta Pot Pies
Oh how I love polenta! Pair it with chili and it is a winning combination. The rest of the ingredients are also interesting, It calls for pumpkin and thick cut bacon. Touchdown!

Stuffed Mexican Cornbread
This looks like one square meal. "It's cornbread stuffed with ground beef, Mexican chorizo, onion, tomatoes, smoky chipotles, black beans, corn, and a whole host of delicious spices and flavors!" I will tell you that chorizo really amps up the flavor in chili.

Slutty Cheesecake Bars
Hey don't shoot the messenger over the name of these beautiful bars. They couldn't be easier, and the name alone will make your guests smile.

Championship Award Winning Texas
Style Chili
If you are looking for an authentic taste of Texas, this is it. There are only four steps but quite a list of spices, as it should be.

Salted Cashew Caramel Bars
Ohhh these look so good, don't they? And they are super easy to make. It's just a cream cheese shortbread dough, cashews drizzled in a quick caramel sauce and into the oven for 30 minutes. I think the crowds will roar.

Vegetarian Black Bean Chili-Stuffed
Sweet Potatoes
These look incredible! But if you don't care for sweet potatoes, I am sure that a baked potato would work just as well, except you might miss the sweetness. Easy peasy and delicious!

Cheesy Chorizo Cornbread Balls With Chipotle Dipping Sauce
Make this recipe as an appetizer or sidekick to your chili, either way, I think you will score.

Crunchy Chocolate Caramel Bars
With Pecans
These bars are called CRACK BARS for a reason. They are a caramel lovers dream cookie! If these look good to you, I know that you will love all of the recipes on this fabulous food blog.

White Chicken Chili
Made with heavy cream, this is no diet recipe, but it sure looks wonderful. It's also made with white beans, a trio of chiles and lots of seasonings for maximum flavor.

Blue Corn Bread
If you ever have had a blue corn chip, you might agree that they are superior to the average yellow corn chip. So the same may be true with blue cornbread. And let's not ignore how attractive this little square of love is.

Raspberry Amaretto Cookie Bars
You have to love a cookie that also looks like a pizza. According to the author, herself, "these bars have it all: a buttery crust and crumb topping with a sophisticated filling of Amaretto soaked raspberries and sweet raspberry jam for one impressive treat."
