Wedding Wednesday: Pretty in Peach

As you might have heard, Pantone's color of the year is Peach Fuzz. I don't love the name, but the color is warm, soft, and pretty. It features a subtle sensuality that gently falls between a pale pink and orange. It pairs well with bright colors and soft colors. My own color palette was peach and ivory. If you are beginning to plan your wedding, consider this chic shade. Here's inspiration.

Viva Magenta!

And the Pantone "Color Of The Year" is Viva Magenta! It's bright, bold, fun and fearless. To me it is somewhere between pink and red with a little blue mixed in. Pantone states:

 "It is a new animated red that revels in pure joy, encouraging experimentation and self-expression without restraint, an electrifying, shade that is manifesting as a stand-out statement. "

I can tell you that this sizzling shade is not used as much as I expected.  The retailers call this shade anything but magenta. I have tried my best to stay true to the color as depicted by Pantone in the first image. There are many interpretations.  Here's how you can infuse your life with color.
