Foodie Friday: 17 Christmas Breakfast Recipes

Christmas Morning breakfast. Who has time for it with all of those presents to open? In my household, it ends up being brunch with Bloody Mary's or Mimosas to start. Of all the days, Christmas is the one that should begin with  something special. I hope my family and yours find something here that sounds delish.

Baked Eggnog French Toast
Picture perfect! Bourbon and heavy cream make this one special dish!

Champagne Donuts
These are baked in the oven, not fried. Sorry "Mr. Shop This!" They are made with actual champagne. Sign me up!

Make-Ahead Christmas Morning Strata
Isn't this beautiful? At heart it is a bread pudding loaded with sausage, cheese, and veggies.  Best yet, you get it together the day before, and cook it while the presents are being opened. Perfect!

Perfect Popovers With Cranberry Butter
Now this dish will be unexpected! Serve them warm and everyone will enjoy this super light and buttery treat.
Half Baked Harvest

How To Make Crepes
I just found a crepe machine that I didn't remember I had! These thin buttery crepes are always my fave at a local pancake restaurant. I like them plain, but only imagine how fabulous they would be with chocolate, nutella, fruit and whipped cream!

Sheet Pan Eggs with Smoked Salmon, Cream Cheese and Dill
I bet this might be requested by my fam #celebrationworthy.

One Hour Cinnamon Orange Rolls
What a beautiful treat. Orange zest has been added to the dough and the icing. Speaking of that icing.....is it enough for you? I think so.

Gingerbread Loaf
This is said to be the most moist gingerbread ever. It gets that way with orange juice, applesauce and canola oil. Pretty, isn't it?

Dark Chocolate Raspberry Coffee Cake
I am not big on coffee cake. Perhaps it is because I don't drink coffee. But this dish looks divine.
Sally's Baking Addiction

Spinach & Goat Cheese Quiche With Sweet Potato Crust
Gluten Free
Isn't this a beauty? And a genius recipe at that. It's simple and healthy, too!

Gingerbread Pancakes
Oh this one has all of the feels, doesn't it? They are said to be super fluffy, sweet and loaded with Christmas seasonings.

Creme Brulee French Toast
This recipe starts with challah bread, and is made the night before you serve it. That makes it easy for Christmas morning....more time for presents! The recipe also features Grand Marnier and caramel sauce! Oh yum!

 S’mores Red Velvet Waffle Stacks
Dessert for breakfast? On Christmas, yes!  Fudge sauce, melted marshmallows and red velvet. It's all Santa approved.
Beyond Frosting

Overnight Pull Apart Cinnamon Roll Bread
Easy serving and easy eating. It's finger food! Click thru the link or photo to see the gorgeous swirls within the brioche bread.

Greek Yogurt Christmas Morning Muffins
What a beautiful bite for any holiday! The combination of rosemary, cinnamon, nutmeg and vanilla bean is a marvelous mix of ingredients.
Running To The Kitchen

Cherry Toast With Vanilla  Cream
If you have not tried stuffed French Toast, treat yourself this Christmas. This might be my fave of the post.

Christmas Tree Pancakes
Vegan & Gluten Free
Oh What Fun! Wont the kids just love these?  They are healthy, too, with no food coloring used.
