Today is the 50th Anniversary of Woodstock. How groovy is that? I am probably giving away my age, but I so wanted to be there. Though I was a bit too young to drive across country, I was feeling the hippie chic vibes. It was a time of political unrest and self exploration, not to mention fashion that went against the norm. I wore flowers my hair, headbands across the forehead, and fabulous fringe. This post celebrates that 70's style, and features fashion looks that are still on trend today.

"The fitted empire waist and deep V-neckline of this caftan-inspired maxi dress are beautifully enhanced by ornate embroidery." This maxi has an ethereal feel about it, not to mention the fab flower power of the seventies.
