Yesterday was National Watermelon Day. It's my favorite fruit. Like the pineapple, just the shape of the fruit makes it so much fun. It's great cut into slices, chunks for appetizers, charred on a grill, or pureed for a cocktail. Nothing really says Summer better than a freshly cut watermelon. This roundup of recipes promise to sweeten and spice up the dog days of Summer!
