Wedding Wednesday: Spring 2015 Bridal Trends

(Via Jeanette Getrost)

This week has been all about Spring 2015 Fashion at #NYFW2014. But back in April the runways were filled with the best of bridal for Spring 2015.  Today, fashion forward brides come to expect more than a little lace and a sweetheart neckline.  The designers did not disappoint for Spring.

Here: Four Top Trends

468x60

Off The Shoulder
This is a romantic look that adds an instant softness to the dress. An off the shoulder neckline adds emphasis to shoulders and is a nice alternative to a typical sweetheart neckline.

Anne Barge Whisper
And those sleeves are indeed just a whisper of tulle.  Loving the simple silhouette of this embellished gown.

Pronovias
Chantilly lace and a beautiful face and arms! A close up look of this dress really shows the gorgeous sheer sleeves and pretty shoulder line.

Monique Lhuillier
The designer created a coordinating shrug to be worn over the Axelle strapless drop waist gown with cascading tulle skirt. I think this extra piece adds so much interest and style.

 Jenny Packman - The Hepburn
Demure and elegant, this gown reflects two trends - bows and off the shoulder.

Illusion Backs
Think about it. The back of your gown actually gets plenty of viewing. As you walk down the aisle, as you stand at the altar, and even during your first spin on the dance floor, your back is to your guests. So why shouldn't the back be as interesting (or even more) as the front of the dress?

Kenneth Pool
The Katya is an drop dead gorgeous look with just perfect placement of the appliques.

The Sada is another favorite of mine with a big WOW factor.  A dropped waist ballgown with lace applique and bustled tulle skirt.

Amsale Heather
Sexy in a sophisticated way, the Heather is made of heavy crepe with a bateau neckline and sheer back. Covered buttons from neckline to the waist add intrigue.  The veil is so perfect with the gown!

Oversized Bows

"Jane" by Anna Maier Couture
The bride is all wrapped up in white satin, and she is topped with an off center modern bow. Found the dress on Huffington Post and the designer's website is

Ines di Santo 2015
This is quite the gown that is both sexy and elegant. Love the creative use of fabric.

Jesus Peiro
This is a pretty collection from this Spanish bridal house. The oversized bow is the perfect size for the voluminous skirt.

Tulle Skirts
If you have always dreamed about looking like a Princess, next Spring is your time. Poufy full ballgown skirts are bigger than ever.

Vera Wang
I am not sure what Vera was thinking this year, most of her models look like they need a good meal.  But her gowns remain magical. The metallic embroidery makes a big statement here.

Sareh Nouri
Layers of tulle and silk organza create a dramatic look with a keyhole back. Too much?

Pronovias Leina
From the Dreams Collection, this is one frilly frock. I particularly like the silver and gemstone appliqued belt. The dress needed that.
