Well, this week really flew by! I must admit that I had a little trouble getting back in the groove after a long fun filled weekend. Leather Weather? Not yet. It's hot, hot, hot here.  If we were to wear leather today, it would need to to be air conditioned. Faux but fabulous! I tried the St. Tropez Self Tanning products for the first time. I love it! So easy to apply. It must be goof proof, because I did it! The color is just what I wanted...light to medium tan. I would say it lasted about 8-10 days for me. No smell at all. I bought two of the starter kits. Find all sizes at Dermstore. Highly recommended.

Presto Pesto! Recipes For The End Of Summer

Experienced some Internet issues yesterday, and had to scratch the planned post. So I bring to you, from the archives, a fan favorite: Presto Pesto! One of my favorite condiments is pesto. When invited over to my home, you'll be served it in one form or another. I have grown a big crop of basil this Summer, which has been so much fun. If you are in a cooking rut, pesto will add the pizazz to any dish. Here's inspiration.

Best Easy Pesto

This can be whipped up in five minutes. And that is why I make several times a week with fresh basil from my garden. This is a good recipe that creates a creamy sauce. I will add my pro tips: Go easy on the olive oil...use a little at a time, until you get a thick creamy sauce. Also, you absolutely do not need nuts. I make them both ways. And if you don't have basil, kale, spinach, or almost any green veggie will work. Experiment!
