Geek Chic

One of my favorite accessories is my iPad.
If you have one, you understand how your mini
computer trumps a terrific tie or bangle any day.  But our tech necessities are fragile and
need to be protected on the go...and look good.
Here: my edit of the best in geek chic.
~ ~ ~ ~ ~

It doesn't get any more chic than Fendi's Tapestry iPad Tote.  These were seen on the
FW 2012/2013 Milan Runway in fur, skin, tufting and tapestry.  Sadly, I can't find them anywhere today to purchase. If I could, I would. Fabulous form and fashion!

I happen to own this good looking case
by Two's Company. Good looking, right? You would never guess that it is less than $20.

Leave it to Moschino to have fun and dress
their iPhone cases in the latest style!

Tea Time Tuesday

Traditionally, Tea time is from 3- 5 PM, for me it is any hour of the day! A cup of tea is my
"comfort zone." It warms me up and relaxes my mind, body, and soul. Here, my edits of
all things tea.

Love the specialness of the tradition of tea.  The way the table is set and the presentation of food is luxe and lovely.  The addition of a glass of champagne always is a bubbly idea!
The perfect gift for a tea lover. A handsome Dammann Travel Tea Set.  As always, the presentation is key!

Dammann Freres Tea Shop in Paris

When in New York with little ones, The Eloise Tea at The Plaza is a must!  And if you're lucky, you might catch Eloise charging her own snack.  It really is a special treat for both
parent and child.

The Plaza Hotel
Fifth Avenue and 59th Street
New York, NY

Speaking of kiddies...what little girl wouldn't love her own Tea Set? This one by Roseanna comes perfectly packaged in a hat box!

Tea Time Truffles! A lovely idea for gifting or serving at home. "Bittersweet, milk and white chocolate enrobe decadent molded truffles with flavors that include Jasmine Pearl Tea, Moroccan Mint Tea, Lavender Crème Fraîche and Meyer Lemon" Yum!
Found only at Dean and Deluca.

Serve your own stylish shabby chic tea with fine linen. Choose the crown napkins for a
royal good time!

Tea length gowns are rare these days, and that's a shame. Elie Saab's couture gown is
one of my all time favorites. See it on my own Pinterest board,

Hopefully you enjoyed this spot of tea today.
I'll leave you with one thought....
Cheers!

Rainy Days and Mondays

Karen Carpenter sang that Rainy Days and Mondays always got her down. How about you?

Click for a little Rainy Day music!

If we all could look this good in a classic trench and red soled Louboutin's, we would never mind a rainy day. Here, my edits, of rainy day gear
that will always make you smile!

The happiest of trenches are from Burberry Prorsum. Bright, bold and beautiful!

Valentino adds his signature feminine
style to a Bow Back Red Trench.

It's raining.  Might as well make the most
of it and have fun. Felix Rey's Kissy Face
Umbrella does the trick!

Milly's Mini's for little fashionistas couldn't
be any cuter. Perky polka dots pop perfectly.

Can you ever have too much Valentino?
His Strawberry Field Trench will brighten
any rainy day!

Sometimes it just rains cats and dogs.
Now man's best friend can be prepared
for any kind of weather! Get a classic trench

Spring Forward With Floral

Somewhere under the snow and on the racks in your favorite stores Spring has sprung! Fresh florals are blooming brightly.  I think I'm into this romantic revival.  Perhaps not head to toe, but a pretty pump with posies
 sounds appealing!

A garden of fashionable fleurs is growing
at Kate Spade...and in unexpected ways, too!

Zac Posen's Fitted Taffeta Blazer and Hibiscus-Print Flared Dress is a little bit Victorian and very feminine.  The jacket adds a touch of sophistication. Find it at

Lovely Lela Rose has created a gorgeous
Full Skirted Drape Dress. It's picture perfect
for all of Spring's prettiest parties.

Like a dream.  No one does feminine better than Oscar de la Renta! If it wasn't so expensive, this would be a pretty pick for Prom!

Valentino's Bustier Dress is subdued and sensational!

Guy Day Friday

What will the men in your lives be wearing this Spring?  Hopefully, not hoodies and sweatshirts.  Here, my edits, of the runway's best in the Men's Collections for Spring 2013.

I don't know if it is the long hair, scruffy beard or the look of the jacket, but I'm digg'n this blazer and the entire look from Hugo Boss. Find it at

Ditch the gym bag and carry on!
I'd go anywhere with a man toting
Giorgio Armani's Crocodile Embossed Bag.

A conservative look for casual sportswear.
Love the reversible Façonnable Vest.

Is there anything more dapper and classic  than a man in a black blazer, white shirt and grey pants? Love this look by Canali!

Balenciaga's Two Layered Band Collar Shirt.
A very versatile shirt that could be worn with
everything from a tux to dark denim.

Alexander McQueen plays with patterns while mixing prints and patterns. A very updated
look at

Infuse your guys wardrobe with a pop of color! An easy and comfy way to do so, is with shoes.
Barney's has a great selection of drivers from Prada,Ralph Lauren, Tod's & Ferragamo.
