Better Than A Pot Of Gold ~ Green Recipes & Cooks' Tools

{ Via: Inslee Designs }

Of course, everyone is a little bit Irish on St. Patrick's Day. I am actually about 50% Irish, but not a fan of Irish food. It's either too salty, fatty, or plain for my taste. Or maybe I just haven't had it from the right source. What does tempt my tastebuds is eating anything green. It really is the healthiest color under the rainbow.  Today's recipe roundup showcases the Irish hue in all of its verdant varieties. Sláinte!

A Healthy Shamrock Spread
Talk about a shamrock spread! If you are entertaining this weekend, find beautiful inspiration here.
Simply Beautiful Eating

Mojito Margaritas
Two drinks in one? One I don't care for, the mojito, and one I love, the margarita. Together they just make one chic cocktail. Let's try it.

Farmhouse Beet Leaf and Whole
Wheat Tart
This recipe shows that presentation is key when it comes to cooking and serving. Looks like Easter brunch to me.

Irish Pub Spinach & Artichoke Melt
How can you make a grilled cheese better? Just add artichokes, spinach and Irish
Cheddar Cheese!

Persian Love Cake Donuts
Aren't these pretty little things? Said to be super fragrant, too, thanks to the rose water. The green comes naturally from pistachios.
How sweet.

Broccoli Pesto Pasta
What a lovely Spring pasta dish! Pesto just makes everything better, to me. Add fried lemon and creamy ricotta cheese, and you have one mouthwatering meal.
Half Baked Harvest

Clover Cocottes
Just right for Springtime and very attractive. The smallest cocotte is priced right for
 hostess gifting.
Le Creuset

Lime Cilantro Salad Dressing
Created for Jackie's Grilled Chicken Salad, this dressing can be used for any salad. The blend of naturally sweet honey, citrus, and a hint of heat from a jalapeño pepper, sounds like a winning combination. So much better than store bought.

Spicy Tuna Poke Stuffed Avocados
I love tuna anyway it is prepared. But add an avocado and I am so in! Be sure to use high quality fresh tuna (salmon can be used, too. ) Frozen just will not due. Yum!

Pistachio Cake
Have you ever had it? My Mom made it back in the day, but it was without frosting, { what? } must have been a bundt cake. But a tiny Belgium bakery around the corner from me makes one. It's very special, and I feel that pistachios are a bit underrated. Give this cake a try.
Sally's Baking Addiction

Moser Glass Cake Stand
A little bit retro and whole lot of cool. Available in seven stylish shades.
Food52

Roasted Jalapeno Guacamole Salsa
Sounds like two dishes in one. I may never make red salsa again!! And as always, presentation puts this dish over the top.

Chimichurri Steak Tacos
Nothing adds a both a little Spring and a bit of zing to your dinners than Chimichurri. Try this delicious recipe today.

Two of my favorite foods blended together. This dish could not be more simple.
BBC Good Food

Chef'n Garlic
I'm always looking for the perfect garlic tool. This could be it. Best yet, use the Code: EXTRA to take 20% off.
Williams Sonoma

Vegan Mint Chocolate Chip Avocado
 Ice Cream
This Avocado Ice Cream has only 5 ingredients and no ice cream machine is needed. It's creamy, refreshing and also healthier. And it's just
 so beautiful.
Sweet and Savory Meals

Rainbow Spring Rolls
These bright and beautiful Spring Rolls are served with a spicy peanut sauce. What a beautiful Spring alfresco
 lunch idea.

Luck Of The Irish Shots
Are these dessert or cocktails? They look so good that it just doesn't matter. They pack a punch with Irish Cream, Creme de Cocoa, and Creme de Menthe.
